If you are having issues with the Timesheet not syncing with iPayroll it may be due to the connection with iPayroll dropping out.
You can check the connection status at any time from within the 'App Connections' page in the settings > iPayroll > Test Connection.
If you are getting an error saying ‘Invalid API token’ or have any issues with exporting to iPayroll use the following instructions to diagnose and fix the issue. It's quicker to simply delete and reconnect to iPayroll.
Before you start make sure you have the following things available:
- Authenticator App for iPayroll Codes
- IDs and Passwords for Each of your iPayroll Accounts, this is important because if you have a group account for iPayroll you will need each individual account login to be able to connect the correct goRoster to the correct account. The API does not allow you to use a Group login as it needs one API connection for each account.
- Login to goRoster and Navigate to the Connected Apps page – Settings > Connected Apps
- Open the Connection
- Delete the Connection – Options > Delete Connection

- Next, make sure you have logged out of iPayroll – to check this open iPayroll and check if you are automatically signed in or not.
- Back in goRoster go to Connected Apps (Settings > Connected Apps) and Click the Orange + button to create a new connection. Select iPayroll
- Enter a Name for the connection and select the Roster to connect it to.
- You will now get bounced to the iPayroll login page. You need to enter the ID and Password for the site you are connecting to.

- Click Authorise to allow goRoster to access your iPayroll Account.
- You will get bounced back to goRoster – job done!
