There are three different fields for adding notes in the Roster Designer. One of these notes is visible to users building the roster while the other notes can be sent out with a roster or individual employee shift (employee visible).
Admin Notes (Visible to ALL Users NOT Visible to Employees):
Daily Note:
Daily Notes are accessible from the Edit Menu on each day in the roster designer. These notes create an indicator above the day when they are applied to alert other users who may be working on the same roster.


Employee Notes:
Employee Notes are accessible from the employee cell in the designer and are visible to employees and other users. At the moment they are visible on Email, SMS and the Kiosk. Mobile App employee notes are coming soon.

Employee notes appear under the employee name in the roster printout - see below:

Shift Notes (Visible to ALL users and that specific Employee when that shift is Published).
Shift Note:
A shift note can be used to include additional information for that employee who is working the shift.

This note will appear below the shift time when the employee receives their roster via mobile app. See below:
