Entering Revenue
To get an understanding of how you are performing with regards to your budget you can enter your earnings into goRoster. There are two types of revenue that can be entered – Estimated Revenue and Actual Revenue.
Estimated Revenue
Entering estimated figures can help you to check to see whether you might be over or under budget during the week. Your estimates could come from a previous week or from your own intuition.
Actual Revenue
Once each day has passed you can enter in what you actually earned that day. These figures directly affect the budget indicator in goRoster.
To Enter your revenue > go to the Dashboard > Find your Roster Panel > Click More > Edit Revenue.

Enter your figures. You can switch to view either by week or by day using the Group by Source or Group by Date Toggles.

Once you are ready click Save Changes to apply the revenue to the budget.
Options for businesses who do not take in daily earnings.
If your business operates on a monthly cashflow rather than per day or week you have a number of options when entering revenue. Your monthly revenue figures could be divided evenly across each week of the month.
Note: Revenue is assigned by roster. If you have multiple rosters you will need to enter the revenue for each independently. If multiple rosters have the same revenue stream, you can enter the same figures in all.
