Roster settings are accessed via the side menu by clicking Rosters/Roles and then clicking to open a roster.

What is a Target Cost?
A target cost is the percentage of revenue that your employee wage costs should represent. This number can vary by industry and is a very important number to track to ensure you stay profitable. When a target cost is applied to a roster, this will be used to display how close to your budget you are after rostering on employees and entering your revenue and is represented below (highlighted) in the Dashboard screen.

The Target cost is also displayed in the bottom right of the screen when in the Roster Designer and is referred to as the 'Budget Cost' (shown highlighted):

When in Financial View in the Dashboard, target cost can be found by hovering the mouse over the total on the cost/rev column - see below:

How to tell if you are in budget?
If the roster is within budget the current cost/revenue will be displayed in green or if it is over budget it will be displayed in red.
Using Max Weekly Hours
Another way to budget is to set a maximum number of weekly hours. This will indicate when you have reached or exceeded your limit.
Maximum Weekly Hours as shown in Dashboard View:

Setting a cost center for your roster
