Send a Message
Navigate to the 'Group Messaging' screen using the left side bar(highlighted in blue).

In the group messaging screen - Click on the orange '+' icon to 'Send a message'.

Type in the 'send to' field to search for a message group, an individual employee, tag or a roster (sends to all employees available to work on a roster). Click a name to include as a recipient.

Type in the "Subject' field a reference or title for the message (not visible to employees).

Message: The text of the message (limited to 400 characters).

Save the message for later use by choosing 'Save and Send Later'. 'Send Message' starts the process of sending.

Confirm Message

Diagnosing Errors
If a message fails to send to some employees these employees will appear under the "Delivery Warnings" panel. Each delivery warning details the reason for the message failure.
Partially Sent
If an employee has multiple methods for receiving message notifications but one of these methods fails the employee will show with a delivery warning "partially sent" this means the employee has received their message but not by all methods.
Failed
If the employee is missing contact information, a notification method or if the contact information is invalid the employee will show with the delivery warning "Failed". This means the employee did not receive the message. If the information is corrected the message can be re-sent to the employee by selecting "send again".
NOTE
Messages are sent to employees based on the option selected in their employee profile.
Significantly long messages may attract multiple SMS charges if SMS is the option chosen by some employees to receive messages.
Sent group messages also appear in the message history for each employee who receives it.
