There are several ways to export data to your payroll provider.
From a Timesheet (Premium)
Follow the instructions below to export data using the Timesheet feature.
For more information on how Timesheets work see here.
Once you have located the Timesheet you would like to export select the "Options" button and select "export to Excel", or a "Payroll File".

1. Check the correct payroll provider is selected and chose the number of weeks to include. If you have a 1-week pay cycle select "this week only" if you have a fortnightly pay cycle select "this week + previous week".

2. The system will alert you to any issues to resolve such as incorrect Employee Codes. Read more about matching your Employee Codes here.
3. You will also be prompted to confirm Leave to export.
Note: By default, leave is only exported once. If you would like to export the leave again ensure you check the box.

4. Click "export" to start the file download.
Export from Timesheet via API (Premium)
If you've already set up a Connected App that supports Timesheet data you'll be able to export via the Timesheet feature using a more seamless approach.
Connected Apps will appear as additional items in the 'Options' menu.

From the Dashboard (Standard, Premium)
To export data from goRoster to your selected payroll provider:
1. Find the Roster you would like to export.
2. Press More > Export.
3. Click the Payroll tab.
4. Select if you would like to include only this week's data or this week and last week.
5. Click Export.
goRoster will generate a file, formatted to your payroll provider's requirements.
This will be downloaded to your computer with the data ready for you to upload it straight into your payroll provider.
